The Memorial Gifts Committee shall:
- Consist of The Historian and two
Active/Associate members elected at the Annual Program Meeting.
- Administer the memorial funds and
recommend expenditures to the Board of Trustees for approval, approve all memorial gifts
and determine if said gifts are suitable and appropriate to accept.
- Maintain a "Wish List". A
wish list is a listing of church improvement projects, equipment, resources, supplies,
services or mission projects the church needs or supports.
- Meet with any person who may wish to
consider bequeathing money to the church.
- All gifts shall be properly
acknowledged by a member of the committee and recorded in the Book of Remembrances.
Acknowledgment should be made to the donor and to a member of the family of the person in
whose memory the gift is made.
